Hey, and welcome to my blog, "Ooh La Lauren!"
I want to start off by saying thank you for reading my blog! This blog started out as a project for my Media & Society class and has since turned into one of my biggest passions!! I told myself about three years ago that I wanted to start a blog, and the class assignment sort of gave me the push I needed to finally get it started!! I am so grateful for all the love and support my previous blog, "Live, Laugh, Lauren" received, and I'm ready to take this blogging thing to the next level! With that said, I've completely redesigned my blog, its name, domain, and my Instagram! This is such an exciting chapter in my life and I am looking forward to watch my new blog grow!!! Please give my Insta a follow @ooh.la.lauren for blog updates and a glimpse into my life as a college girl just trying to adult in this crazy world!! Thanks for all the support and love!! Please continue to browse my blog and feel free to give me a DM on Instagram or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you're interested in collaborating!!
Now, I'd like to tell ya'll a little about myself! My name is Lauren, I'm a 21 year old cat-mom, dating my best friend Tanner. I'm finally a senior in college, studying Marketing, and Minoring in Enterprise Resource Planning! I was born in Colorado, but later moved to Arkansas where I've lived most of my life. I consider myself to be a fashion-forward, optimistic, outgoing, dedicated, light-hearted & open-minded individual, and although I come across as a preppy used-to-be pageant girl, there is a lot more to me than meets the eye. I have been skiing since I learned how to walk, I grew up having many boys as friends and learned at an early age that girls can be just as badass as boys. I love to snowboard, horse back ride (mostly English riding), water ski, wakeboard, etc. I did gymnastics from age 3 to 18 and participated in cheerleading, golf, cross - country, and soccer. My parents raised me with a strong attitude and an even stronger faith in God. I love traveling, art, and learning about different cultures! I want to live in a city one day, preferably Los Angeles or New York, but as of right now, L.A. is the next stop after college. I have interned for an ad agency, a non-profit company, women's empowerment group, and most recently worked as the marketing director at a local boutique. In the meantime, I have decided to do some free-lance work for individuals. Visit the "work" tab above to learn more about my new business I am working on and all the services I will be offering! Again, thank you so much for supporting me and I hope this blog helps you in some way, whether you need life advice, fashion inspiration, or just a good dose of #girlpower!
