I am absolutely obsessed with bubble baths! It's my little sanctuary at the end of the day. I love to unwind with a good book, a glass of wine, a scented candle and soak in a hot tub of bubbles for as long as I can until my fingers get too pruny! If you're anything like me and love bubble baths, you know it's kind of difficult to find the perfect bubble bath product that creates the large, luxurious bubbles you see on TV and movies. I have been on the search for the perfect bubble bath that doesn't dry out my skin but also creates the large foamy bubbles everyone loves playing with and soaking in. Below, I've compiled a list of everything you need for the perfect bubble bath, and all the products I absolutely love whenever I take a long bath.
1. SheaMoisture Fruit Fusion Bubble Bath
This is my all-time favorite bubble bath and it creates the perfect amount of bubbles without over-drying your skin! It is super affordable and found at most grocery and drug stores! There are also a ton of different scents to choose from, however, "fruit fusion" is my absolute favorite!
3. LUSH Bath Bombs
My favorite ones are from LUSH Cosmetics and are about $5-$8 each!
I don't use bath bombs every time I bathe because they are so expensive, but I love using them and they smell amazing!! My favorite bath bombs are from LUSH Cosmetics because they are made with all natural ingredients and don't irritate your skin. LUSH has a large variety of fun colors, scents, and shapes of bath bombs, so you can truly create the best bath experience for yourself.
5. Epsom Salts
My favorite bath product is epsom salts. Epsom salts for bathing are used for detoxing as well as helping to de-bloat the body. The best part about epsom salts is that they are extremely cheap and can be found at any drugstore. They are also beneficial for helping to restore and soothe sore muscles. My favorite scent is lavender and I just buy a huge bag at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, or CVS for only about $5. Dr. Teal's is my favorite brand.
2. Harper + Lee Coffee Scrub - Exfoliating
$10 at TJMaxx, but I have linked the same product to this website HERE
When I use this scrub, I smell like a freshly brewed cup of coffee and it makes my skin super soft! Coffee as a scrub is also a great way to stimulate your skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite and stretch-marks! I got lucky finding this for only $10 at TJMaxx but couldn't find it easily online. If you want a product similar to this, but one that is a little easier to find, I have linked an almost identical product here!
4. Pure Grace - Bath Set
Philosophy / $50
It is a MUST to moisturize after taking a bath, especially in the winter. Sitting in hot water for long periods of time can actually dry your skin out. This set comes with a body wash/shampoo/bubble bath & a body lotion. I got this for Christmas and used the bubble bath within days, because I used it for every single shower and bath I took. The lotion however, has lasted me the longest time and smells amazing! The scent is a fresh "clean cotton" kind of smell and I feel so refreshed after I apply this lotion after a relaxing bath.
My Tips for the perfect bath:
- run warm to hot water and pour the bubble bath under the running water
- light a candle or two and turn down the lights for a relaxing vibe
- read a book or just soak in the tub - take time away from social media and the outside world
- apply lotion immediately after getting out when your skin is still wet for lotion to fully absorb into skin
- drink a glass of cold water before and after bathing
